A rustic Italian flat, oblong shaped bread shaped like a slipper, Ciabatta was invented in 1982 in the Veneto region of Italy, near Venice as an alternative to the French baguette. Known for its deliciously crisp crust & soft open crumb, Ciabatta make the best panini sandwiches ever. Our vegan Ciabatta is made with a combination of organic whole wheat & bread flours, roasted plant seeds & extra virgin olive oil. Cold fermented for amazing flavour & texture, they make amazing sandwiches, or sliced & toasted, make great bruschetta or crostini. They are also perfect served with you favourite pasta or salad, soup or sauce. 100% Vegetarian.
INGREDIENTS : Bread flour, whole wheat flour, yeast, water, olive oil, salt, seeds.
STORAGE : Wrap in clingfilm & freeze for up to 1 month.
REHEATING : Thaw at room temperature or put into a 180 C oven for 5 - 8 minutes or till warmed through & crisp. Reheat for 1 - 2 minutes in a microwave on medium heat till soft and warmed through.
